The project
A Lima brand on shelves across the country.

The situation
Keystone Meats is a food manufacturer in Lima. Its canned meats sell at Walmart and other grocery retailers across the country.
At that scale, every can has to look like the one beside it, on every shelf, run after run. The label is how shoppers know the brand.
What we do
For over 20 years, we've produced every label that goes on Keystone's canned meats. That adds up to millions of them.
Keystone's are non-adhesive labels that wrap the can. We don't send every job to the same press. Through our sourcing network, we match each kind of printed piece to the right plant for it, and that includes can labels, adhesive or not.
The result
Most people have no idea these come from us. We spotted this display at the Walmart on Harding Highway in Lima, and seeing a longtime client's products on the shelf never gets old.
Can after can, shelf after shelf, our work travels with them.
More than printing
The program behind the labels.
Producing the labels is half the job. Making sure the right one is on the shelf when the line needs it is the other half.
Every label tracked
Nearly 200 different labels, each with its own record: the artwork, its place on the shelf, and the boxes on hand.
Counted every Friday
We count the label stock at Keystone's warehouse every week, box by box.
Ordered in time
Each count shows what's getting low, so the next run can be ordered before it's needed.
Overflow stored here
When a big run is more than their shelves can hold, the extra stays at our warehouse until they need it.

Yes. Keystone's are non-adhesive labels that wrap the can. Adhesive can labels are available too.
Do you print the labels yourselves?
We work through a sourcing network of plants and match each job to the right one for it. That's how one team in Lima can produce can labels by the million for a national brand and a small batch for a weekend craft show.
Can you handle a large label program?
Yes. We've produced millions of can labels for Keystone Meats in over 20 years of partnership, and their products are on shelves across the country.
Can you manage our label inventory too?
Yes. For Keystone we track nearly 200 different labels, count the stock at their warehouse every Friday, and store overflow from the big runs at ours.
Warehousing and fulfillmentIs there a minimum order?
No. Meant2Bee Honey needed a small batch of product labels before a weekend show, and that's a normal order too.
Meant2Bee Honey's product labelsWho needs labels like these?
Food and beverage brands, manufacturers, and anyone putting a product on a shelf.
What else can you source besides can labels?
Printed materials of all types. Tell us what you need printed and we'll find the right plant for it.
How much do can labels cost?
It depends on the size of the label, how many you need, and whether it's adhesive, which is why there's no price list on the site. Send the details and you'll get a price for your exact labels before anything is made.
Can you design or update a label?
Yes. Our design team can create or refresh label artwork, and you'll see a proof before anything is printed.
