The project
A store that started with four things.
The situation
What we made
We built an online print store for the health system, and we maintain it. Each department has its own secure login, orders what it needs when it needs it, and can see its past orders to repeat one easily.
The business cards are variable data: the design stays the same, and the name, title, and details are entered for each person. The picture at the top is cinematic artwork based on the store's real pages and printed pieces, not a screenshot of the store.
The result
The store has been running for at least ten years and holds more than 130 items today. It is one of our longest-running company stores.
Departments order for themselves, and the health system's brand looks the way it should on every piece.
In their words
The company store that Proforma maintains for us takes a lot of stress off my desk. They do a great job making sure our brand is always looking great.”
What's in the store

Day to day
Set up around how they order.
A store is built around the customer who uses it. This is how Blanchard Valley's runs.
A login for each department
Every department has its own secure user name and password.
Ordered as needed
A department orders what it needs, when it needs it.
Past orders on hand
Each department can see what it ordered before and repeat that order easily.
On demand, or from stock
Some items are printed when they're ordered. Others are printed in a larger run, stored, and released as orders come in. It depends on the item.

EXCELLENT4.9 from 58 Google reviews, rated 4.9 out of 5. Opens our Google Business profile in a new tabWhat is a company store?
An online store that holds your organization's approved items, so your people can order what they need from it. Blanchard Valley's holds printed pieces, with business cards, envelopes, folders, and labels among them.
Can a store hold only printing?
Yes. Blanchard Valley's is nearly all printing: cards, stationery, folders, forms, and labels, with a few extras such as sticky notes and pens. A store can also hold apparel, promotional items, or all three.
What are variable data business cards?
Cards where the design stays the same and the details change from person to person. The name, title, and contact details are entered for each card, so every card matches the rest.
Does each department get its own login?
At Blanchard Valley, yes: each department has a secure user name and password. How your store is set up is your call.
Can we repeat an order we placed before?
Yes. Blanchard Valley's departments can see their past orders and repeat one easily.
Do you print each order as it comes in, or keep stock?
Both. In Blanchard Valley's store, some items are printed on demand, and others are printed in a larger run, stored, and released as they're ordered. Which way an item goes depends on the item.
We already have a print shop. Would a store still help?
It can. Blanchard Valley has its own in-house print shop, and its store was set up to supplement it.
Can we see a store before deciding?
Yes. Ask for a demo and we'll walk you through a live store.
How is pricing handled?
It depends on what the store holds and how it's set up, which is why there's no price list on the site. Tell us what you have in mind and you'll get a price for your store before anything is built.
