The project
Late sign-ups. Early shirts.
The situation
19 Hawthorne puts on the Mimosa 5K in Lima every year, and the event shirt is part of the day.
The hard part is the timing. People sign up late, so the sizes aren't settled until close to race day, and the shirts still have to be there on time.
What we made
We worked with 19 Hawthorne on the sizes they needed and the date they had to hit, then found a shirt that fit the look and the quality they wanted.
The print carries the race's own artwork: the Mimosa 5K name, a champagne flute, a pair of rubber ducks, and the line "A Ducking Awesome Race!"
The result
The shirts arrived early, even with the late sign-ups, so nothing was left to the last minute.
Participants loved them, and the order came in under what 19 Hawthorne expected to spend. They come back for the shirt every year.
